System Options

Call system options from the initial screen by the main menu Options / Options ...

All changes which you do in the options will be seted up after you click on the button OK. If you click on the button Cancel, the changes will not be saved.

General Sheet

Onto this sheete, there are following options:

• Language of the system determines the language by which the system will comunicate. There are two possibilities - english and czech. This language doesn`t influence the syntax of knowladge base that is always the same (based on english). Attention! This language doesn`t influence the web pages (that is the communication with users). It influence only labels on the server.
• Time of deleting users determines the time, after what will be delete an user if he doesn`t send any demand onto the server.
• Port determines the port onto which the server wait for user`s demand. Standard port of web pages is 80, if the port is set onto another number, a client (user) will have to write it in an URL (for exeple: http://localhost:8080/index). But if the port is set on 80, any other web server couldn`t run in this computer.
• Skip index page if only one base - in the case when only one knowledge base is availabled on the server and an user send the demand on the select of base (index), this one base is automatically select and a description of page is return to the user.
• Limit directory - if this choice is check and some directory is set, only demands of users to some objects (pages, images, css files) that are placed in this directory or subdirectories`ll be executed. It`s suitable to set as limit directory the directory where the file NEST_Server.exe is placed and all object relevant with pages place in some subdirectory.

Sheet base`s pages

Onto this sheet you can assign web pages to bases. In the left side of the table, there is a list of the bases available on the server, in the right side, there are the pages (directoris with the pages) that are assigned to the bases. If you want change some pages, you could rewrite them directly or you can choose new directory in the dialog box after you click on the button „...“.

Sheet log file

Onto this sheet you can set the mode of creating log file. Option Create log file determines if the log file will be created or not (rest of options`ll be used only if this option is checked].

Directory of log file determines a directory where the log files`ll be created.

Type of log files determines if one or more log files will be created. Choise 1 file means that everythings`ll be written in one file, which name is set in a box Log file. Choise according to size means that new log file`ll be created in the time when previous file`ll have the size set in a box size of files. Choise according to date means that a new file is created every day.

Sheet Save Consultations

Onto this sheet you can set that the system`ll save results of all consultations which will be ended (a consultation is saved when the page with result is showing) - for save consultations check the option Save consultations and to the box Directory to the save consultations set a directory where the consultations`ll be saved.
